Anyone try to install a 3R Tyler T for a Round butt "K" on a round butt 442......

That's an interesting question. I have a J frame (642) but no grips that leave the grip frame exposed.
I took a couple pictures of a #3R (RB k frame) on the frame of the 642. The first pic. is with the Tyler t resting on the frame. Leaves a little gap at the trigger guard.
The second picture is with the Tyler T pull away and sitting flush with the frame where it would be resting on the grips. fills the area about perfect.
I have a polished Tyler T with a casting flaw that will not polish out. I'll give it to you if you want to test the fit and report your findings back here.
jcculloden: send me a PM with your address and I'll get it in the mail to you.
