Like the retired LEO fellow said, what gets the legal folks attention is lots of complaints.
Funny, I never figured a States Attorney General's office or the USPS Federal Mail Fraud enforcement as *some such mystically powered type.*

Here's a question I would like an answer to. When was the last time someone ordered something from Tyler T-Grips and received their order. There are anecdotal reports I've seen of people getting their product in May of 2010. Can anyone confirm this?

I can see it now, a thread titled: Show Me Your T Grips!!!!!!!!!!

Forget the L frames, here's 5 Tylers!

I've got to ask the question: "Why don't you buy the frame size in the caliber you want that fits your hand?"

Why buy a gun with a dainty frame size and then 'magnamize it' with a Tyler T-grip? For crying out loud, Goodyear's are in stock at 17 different internet web sites for less money.

And all this in only 184 posts!!! Nothing is worth that many electrons.

Tyler T-Grips were an *old school* solution to fill the space behind the trigger guard to position your finger more in line with the trigger (and keep your middle finger from getting beat by heavy recoiling rounds). It also let you keep the smaller *magna* style grips. Even General Patton had the S&W version on his famous 357 magnum with the 3 1/2" barrel and ivory (magna) style stocks. Less expensive than buying custom stocks like the *Ropers* a la Skeeter Skelton.

A genuine collectible in absolutely mint condition! This is the rare highly-polished Oklahoma City Tyler T-grip from the old days when quality was the byword and Melvin Tyler did all the work. There is NO text on either side of this little jewel, just that terrific old-time high polish, making it ever so much more rare. This is the ideal companion for a mint nickeled J-frame revolver, and would be wonderful for display or everyday use. It comes complete with the original box and instruction sheet.

These incredible icons of bygone days will probably never be made again, certainly not with this unbelievable careful attention to detail! Those of you who have always secretly yearned for one of these masterpieces are now in luck.

This one is for sale! The price is $500, postage included, in the continental United States. Yes, you heard me right, only $500! Act now before this opportunity is gone forever! You will be the envy of every man, woman and child in the neighborhood when you proudly display it. You know you want it! Don't tell your grandchildren that you let this one slip through your hands when you had the chance! I strongly suggest that you do this within the next few minutes!

Offer void where prohibited by law. Check your local regulations.

John

I'm a sucker for a great deal. I bought Mrs Engineer a new, no dash, no turn line nickel M37 with 2" barrel. I got gun & box for $550, obviously it is an incomplete package without the Tyler T Grip. And the T is cheaper than the gun. Yippeee

OK, let me ask a question I can't find the answer to in a search on the forum. When were T Grips introduced? Seems I remember them in Field and Stream when I was in grammar school in the 1960's. Do they date back further? I'd kinda like to know what guns they would be period correct on.

That's it, I'm crying - call me a jackwagon, I don't care!
Hey, don't throw the kleenex box at me! :D

Mr. Tyler passed away some years ago. A new group took over the business and soon let go the older woman that worked for many years. I spoke to Mr. Tyler many times and always found him to be a gentleman. The folks that took over the business were another story.

The reason they're not delivering the T-Grips is because one of the owners now has a part-time gig as a judge on American Idol.

My father bought one for our K-22 in the late 1950s. I still have it.
