"Geez...! Tough crowd, man....tough crowd!!"

Only when we believe, with good reason, that we aren’t being treated fairly.

We are talking about $25 or so here, not $100, not $1000. It sounds like this is a mortal sin that has been committed against you, your family and village.

No it is not all of the money in the world, but it still appears to be a theft situation, money was taken without any intention of delivering the promised goods.

So let's ask the group, would anyone out there NOT purchase a T-Grip or T-Shoe if it was made in China?

Hell I don’t care where the product is made, as long as it’s a quality produce and I can receive it on time.

Now I have to ask the ugly question, are you in anyway associated with the Tyler T Grip company or anyone who is associated with the company?

Add my name to the list of people ripped off by Tyler. I sent a check in December of 2010 and it's now 6 months later and I've received nothing. Thankfully the trigger shoe was only $28.

They are still accepting orders and cashing checks without delivering products which is theft/fraud. Their contact web page shows "last updated March 20th, 2011." They know what they're doing.

I've sent emails, left voice mails, sent a letter, and haven't received a single response of any kind.

First it was a death in the family, now on their home page it's "The move to our new shop has taken longer than expected". And it also shows "Phone lines will be re-established on April 10th". They never answer the phone.

I've registered complaints with: the Oklahoma BBB, the OK attorney general's office, and the USPS Postal Fraud dept. I'll post a follow up if anything results from my complaints.

Don't sweat it, the son who took the business over is going to Harvard Business School right now, he'll soon have his MBA and be able to perform advanced business techniques like answering the phone, writing letters, composing/sending emails, etc.

No, and I am very ugly please and thank you……just want to pain...t a mental picture of me before we go any further.

I know a lot of small family run companies though none as badly run as this one is. I have seen lots of forum conversations take on a lynch mob mentality over stuff. I kind of like getting the entire story, both sides before I start trash talking one side or another.
I’ve been trying to make suggestions and get people to think outside the box for themselves how about this. If everyone who has ordered from this company and not received a product would PM or with your name, date of order, details of order and say check number (NOT YOUR ROUTING OR ACCOUNT NUMBER) I will pull all the folks who have been wronged information together and call these guys to see if I can get some stuff shaken loose.

OK all you who have paid and not gotten your product, PM or Email me and I will see what can be done and keep you informed. If I get nowhere I will take the issues to the post office or state attorney general or some such mystically powered type on-mass.

It should be noted that I have NO skin in the game, never ordered one, never will. I do not work for these folks, not part of their family, blood line and they to the best of my knowledge have never married into my family.

I will set up and see what I can do.

Any takers?

whether it's $20 or $20,000 the point is they are taking money and not providing product. if they care about what this has done to the company credibility, they could post here and explain.

I tried Tylers twice, gave up on them, don't feel right in my hand.
I saw one sell in the classifieds for $65 , are people really that desperate for these things?

I am into these guys for 2 T-Grips as of December last year to the tune of $58.75.

PM sent to BB2 with details.

I am not a conspiracy theorist and do not revel in witch hunts...BUT...I am reasonably nervous about receiving the goods already paid for.

Why don't you share that phone number you're going to call them at? The *800* number on their website that was supposed to be *Phone lines will be re-established on April 10th from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM.* that is never answered isn't much help. Why would I need to give my information to you? Give me the number and I can call them! Also, for the fellow who said, *what did you want them to do, burn the checks?* Yes, If you don't intend to fill the orders, burn the checks. Then I would still have my money! As for, *they don't know how to take down their website* what a crock! They are paying for the website. Stop paying and the hosting service will take it down for them. Just as an FYI the hosting domain for Tyler T-Grips appears to be...
•Hosting: eNom, Incorporated host the domain t-grips.com
•IP Address: 69.64.155.164
You can look this up at Web Hosting Search Tool | WhoIsHostingThis.com
The website still being up is most annoying for me. When I placed my order on December 1st 2010 it never occured to me to see if there were complaints against them. The last time I ordered T-Grips was 20 years ago. They advertised in most gun magazines and their business model was the same (send check or money order, delivery in 4 - 6 weeks) only back then, they delivered their product.

A hypothetical game

Let's say I'm making widgets. The same kind my Grandad made and sold. I'm getting $30 a piece for them (prepaid). I'm not getting rich. I discover that these same widgets are selling fo $200 on ebay or Gunbroker. I have back orders for about 100. I have about 100 in stock that I've produced. Let's see now, $200 a piece on ebay? Nothing a piece if I ship them to the original order. What do I do? What do I do?
Most of us would honestly fill the original order. Some wouldn't.
