Has anyone on this forum tried to order any of Tyler T Grips products in the past few months direct?

I sent check that is not rubber a month ago for a brushed aluminum size 3 T Grip. On their site, it says 1-2 weeks for delivery, almost everything in stock. I've called them, sent text messages (which it said to do on the contact page) and get NOTHING! No explanation, no call back, nothing.

Anyone else know something I don't?

I think they make them up in batches. If your size and finish is already made up, you'll get it in a couple of weeks. Otherwise, it will take longer. It took a few months for my brushed metal finish. That was last year.

Bummer, an answered phone call would certainly help....

It may be delayed but you will get it. They had some serious family issues last year. I think it was the owner that died and the son took over and he has had to learn the business. Hey are good folks and still have a quality product.

I think it is a very small operation. Still must order the old fashion way by MAILING in an order form with check or MO. No internet ordering, paypal, credit cards, etc. They may be slow but their product is very good. A while back, it was taking months to get your product from them. Be patient and it will come.:)

If you look, there are several postings on this company throughout the Forum. You just have to be patient. There was period where they almost went out of business but others stepped in and make them. There is a competitor product the BK Grip adapter, (see Misc. for sale vendors that is polymer and lighter weight and works just as well and possibly better and is available is some colors.)

I've got both. They're very similar, but I think the Tylers are metal and the BK plastic. I don't think the BKs come in the silver tone finish, either. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I won't deal with them directly because of their poor business practices. There are plenty of older NIB Tyler T Grip Adapters on the market. All you have to do is go online to find them.

Same here PR24. Ordered two, one for round butt one for square. Sent me one for a Colt D frame and the round butt (k) didn't fit. Returned both, finally got the right one for the square butt, but no round butt replacement. Bottom line is they still owe me for a round butt, k frame. Dude won't answer phone, texts or emails. This has been going on for 90 days now. Oklahoma BBB gives them an F rating. Have bought Mr Tyler's products for years, but it appears that his heirs are nothing like he was. It's a shame the company is now being run by a scammer.:mad:
