U.S. Border Patrol Seizes 67 Abandoned Firearms at the Border

LOL. Well, I suppose I should feel safer, since nearly all of the shootings by "certain Canadians" are done with guns smuggled across our enormously long border. Meanwhile, the rest of us "other" Canadians can't even transfer/sell our registered handguns to each other now for some reason buried deep in the clogged recesses of the collective mental latrine of certain persons in Ottawa
I am pretty sure that is a scientific observation, not a political comment, so I support it.

Oh, scientific to the core, as I am not a Certified Political Proctologist

The source of our criminals' guns has been confirmed by rigorous personal observation over several years, and backed by reports by the CBSA (Canadian Border Services Agency) and RCMP. As Sgt. Joe Friday (almost) said, "Just the facts, man!"

"they observed two individuals absconding from the area into Canada". Gawd I love cop-speak. How about "They saw a couple of guys hauling *** back into Canada". Eh.

Seems pretty clear to me that the attempted smuggling was north into Canada. (If the other way, would be coals to Newcastle.)

Bet those were some heavy backpacks...
Newcastle doesn't need coal......
Only old farts use that expression now-the young'uns just look at you with that whatttt?????? expression on their face. I explain gently that it means the same thing as "Trying to smuggle hookers into a sporting house."
