The Supreme Court let stand a 10th circuit opinion convicting
two Kansas men of selling/owning an unregistered suppressor.
They took the easy way out and refused to hear the appeal.

This case is more about Kansas's Second Amendment Protection Act, which purports to claim that federal gun laws don't apply in Kansas. The guy making and selling the suppressors didn't even have an FFL, and his case centers around his mistaken belief that if the suppressors never left Kansas, he couldn't be prosecuted. He was wrong. Here's the opinion of the Court . . .

Interesting reading and decision. I have a problem with the lack of interpretation and application of infringe, but then I always will.

Basically what they let stand was the lower court's ruling on the validity of NFA and the lack of validity of Kansas's Second Amendment Protection Act.
The mortals involved became the pawns in a states rights vs Federal law battle. Actually the Feds left the mortals off pretty easy because the acted under the SAPA

I wonder since the 10th circuit is in Denver will they start
enforcing the federal marijuana laws? My guess, no.

Only if they can get as many of the people in positions of power to be as opposed to weed as they are to guns.

Not gonna happen.

Now will they use the fact that people use weed as an excuse to take away their guns? Almost certainly.

As Clarence Thomas said, the 2nd Amendment really is being treated as a 2nd class right.
