I have been wanting a 38/40 for a while, especially with bisley grips. I found this one on GB; I watch for a week or so and finally hit the buy now button. Probably paid a hundred or so more for it than it was worth. I just tell my self it is only money! Boy is it fun to shoot and has good trigger. 20220413_102131.jpg

I have an Uberti .22LR Stallion that is a very nice looking shooting iron and seems to be quite well made. I actually like it better than my Ruger Single Six and it's in the same price range.

I have an Uberti pair of No 3 Russians copied after the Tula Arsenal production revolvers in 44 Russian. I also have a Cimmaron 45 Colt SAA 4" and a Cimmaron 357 mag SAA 5/5.5" Thunderer and a Winchester 1873 rifle in 44 Special.

The Cimmarons were everything the late production Colts were, except expensive!

Beautiful grips! Usually I don't see ones that nice from the factory.

Very nice, OP. That has to be a great point shooter and comfortable as an old pair of jeans. Nice

I bought this a few years back just for having some fun with at the range. We had a ton of .38 Special ammo that had been loaded and we had not used over the years. I thought that I would get something fun to shoot to burn this ammo up. I bought this and one of those "bullet absorbing" yellow balls. At the end of a day of "serious" shooting we toss the ball out, take this thing and see how often we can make the ball jump. Never checked to see how accurate it is, or even where it is sighted in for. Its just a fun gun. We need those too.

My 1866 musket and 1873 short rifle. Cody Conagher removed the unwieldy 30 inch barrel for a 20 inch barrel. Used the long forearm. Slicked it up too. Nice rifles.

A few years back, I acquired a El Patron in 357 Magnum as part of a trade package. I did not want the revolver and would never have thought to buy one. I did the deal because of some other firearms that I wanted in the package.

My intent was to sell the El Patron as I prefer my Single Actions in 45 Long Colt.

However, I liked the fit, finish and feel of the revolver so much I decided to shoot it first. Mine came with a great trigger out of the box.

Well I still own that revolver today and I keep thinking about adding another one in a longer barrel length

I had this one, was fun to shoot and I'd carry it occasionally when I was bored. Stock hand spring broke, once I replaced it with a real Colt part it ran 100% (setting aside crummy ammo jumping the crimp).
