Unable to punch or run im dreams?!

A little psychological help for the guys with the spyders chasing after them...Remember if you lay really quiet and still they will not be able to get you as they response to movement and vibrations..Then you won't have to explain how your wife got her black eye to everyone with curious stares..

Ive had those "paused" dreams where i wake up then fall asleep and continue the dream where i left off.

Sometimes i have a really good dream and im all happy when i wake up, as if it happened for real, and by the time om brushing my teeth i cant remember what the dream was about.

One dream i had, and i have no idea where it came from since im not into any of this. I was back in HS in Russia, driving a Ford monster truck (dunno why but i knew it was a Ford) trying to deliver a stack of pancakes! The were in a single stack and very tall, like a phone pole, and i was trying to drive carefully so they wouldn't tip over. And while i was in class i had to open a book and instead of letters there were only light bulbs that were lit up to different intensities and they wernt LEDs but regular house light bulbs

Another resent one.. i was driving a convertible Subaru Impreza and transporting a rake. A regular garden rake but it was veery long and it was past my hood.

I always have this happen in my dreams when I need to wake up and go to the toilet. In my dreams I'll have an urge to go to the toilet but I can't get any privacy because there's always people around. That makes me wake up and actually go.

Other odd dreams - dreams that were only black and white but with only road signs in color.

Some WWII "dream" in Germany, Germans after me, was hiding in cave along hedgerows, but had to keep on the move. Germans were on to me and had wolves trained to attack. So, naturally as I ran from one group of cover to the next I would take puppies out of my bomber jacket and toss them to the wolves...

Oh, first Gulf War, I was along the Iraq and Kuwait border at a gas station filling up. Got "invited" to a party with Saddam was at some palace and we were driving my Jeep again. He tried to go too fast with me not belted in - so I punched him out and booted him at speed.

Castro - going in to solve this once and for all. So obviously I took a 1969 gold Pontiac Catalina Stationwagon, chopped the top off and mounted some recoil-less gun on it and was driving toward his compound at the trigger.

Gulf War, first one. I had a cartoon cutout dream with H W Bush and Saddam and some party gone bad at a Palace and he made a move on my Bride... So I punched him out again...

No problem punching here. I have woke up on top of the wife, either choking or punching her. Most recenlty, dropping elbows on her. She don't sleep with me anymore.

I did not think one was able to control their dream, i would really like to know how. These are some good responses though

I could back when i was younger, now i barely even dream any more. When i was a small boy and had bad dreams like if people were after me i would take shapes of something near me like a rock a stick an old beer can and the bad guys would go past me.

lol once i was so drunk i layed in bed with my girl friend and i closed my eyes and i SWEAR i though i was in the bathroom. My girlfriend said she could hear a water fall, she turn on the lights and seen me goin all over the wall. pants zipped down and everthing like i was using the urinal but just laying down. was never so embarrassed in my life.

One of my buddys was pretty drunk got up (his girlfriend told me) opened his sock drawer and relieved himself, closed the sock drawer and went back to bed.

Mine typically involve being in a strange town or a large building with no idea why I am there, how I got there, or how I get out. And I have trouble walking and moving in the dream.

Anyone ever have a Chantix dream (the anti-smoking medication)? My wife quit smoking by using it, and said the dreams were absolutely wonderful, almost addictive.

It's a good thing socks are easily washed. My wife's father had an over-consumption problem, and did the same thing in my mil's jewelry drawer. It may not be a surprise as these were not totally isolated incidents, they are no longer together. (but still friends)
