Your not going to believe this with all my bad luck lately healthwise I tore my left knee cartilage. I had two knee operations both legs. My right leg they took out the cartilage. My left leg they trimmed it. I slipped in the bathroom and did tear the left cartilage.

I know because with my right knee the cartilage would move and jam the joint. I would stop walking. Lean against the wall on one leg shake my right leg to move the loose cartilage and continue walking. My left knee is doing the same thing jamming.

I read on a medical sight that no operation is needed just keep it iced and it will heal.

You know they drill holes in the joint to get at the cartilage to remove it. I went for steroid injections once in my right knee. I watched the doctor feel for the holes to put the needle into the joint.

This is your medical education for now. Next secession soon to follow.

I love life, I love life, I took out my s&w m28/6” to fondle that makes everything better. Lol I’m still on this side of the green. Just not as fast as I once was, lmao.

I had my left knee cartilage removed when I was 13 yrs old 1956
I have a long scar and a stainless steel plate with 3 screws holding everything together. No therapy then. No trouble since.
Amazing how far nedicine has come since then.
Heal well

Anybody who says you can't overcome it doesn't have a leg to stand on!

Don't give in, don't let it defeet you.

Sometimes you just gotta take a knee and and moment to figure things out.

I'll see myself out.

I walk when I jams up I shake it and walk on. They can’t operate anyway. I’m not in good shape anymore. It’s not jamming that often, I’m not letting it slow me down not yet.

I was told after having prostate cancer I had 10 to 12 years to live. I’m almost past it for 14 years. I’m ok.everyday is a gift. If I wake up and make it out of bed and get that first coffee I’m golden. I spoil the grandson.

I’m just telling you guys how precious life is. Enjoy life everyday.

I've had two right knee operations and one left knee. Went to the doctor a couple months ago with pain in the right knee, xray showed bone on bone, no cartilidge left. He gave me a cortisone shot and all is good so far. I had prostate cancer operation Jan. 2020, but I was never give a time to live after that operation.

Hey Big Bill:

Still going strong now so use a cane like I do.

I had knee surgery in 2017 for arthroscopic surgery on my right knee. I discovered that after the surgery the pain in my knee diminished about 90%. During the recovery I discovered that the grab bars in the shower were within arms length and were a big help in getting off the throne. If you don't have grab bars in the shower already this might be a good time to have them installed for double duty like this.

I still use a cane but now it's only for distance and stamina to comply with doctor's orders. I used it when I marched in my college homecoming parade back in 2019. I sure didn't set any land speed records but I marched the whole parade route.
