Uncle Mike's Boot Grips

Greetings,
I have a recent SW 642-1 PC Talo. I do not like the boot grips-- synthetic flared around wood inserts. They are too wide in the palm of my hand and transmit too much recoil. A poor fit for me and they printed through my pocket. I installed Hogue Bantam grips ($25.) and now I am happy. They are slimmer and provide better recoil management. I immediately shot tighter groups!

+1 on the Hogue Bantams. They're wonderful on the j-frame. Leave it to former LAPD guys to design nice grips/stocks (Guy Hogue) and pocket holsters for wheel guns (Robert Mika's pocket holster is awesome). Anyway, yes, the Bantams work!

I carry in a Mika Pocket Holster also edkato. Have to agree about the awesomeness! Hogue Bantams are on my list.
