Underwood 38+P 158SWCHP for 38/44 HD

This gun can handle 357 Magnum pressure levels, though. It is what Keith used to run the 173 gr. bullet over 13.5 grains of 2400, which is a 357 Mag in the Special case.
No small number of HDs have been later converted by their owners to use .357 by simply lengthening the original .38 Special chambers.

Shooting factory produced +P ammunition (boutique or otherwise) in firearms designed to fire +P ammunition is hardly WILD & CRAZY in my personal opinion...

It might be ultimetely somewhat more wearing on the individual firearm and probably (certainly?) more expen$ive, but...

Who actually shoots enough to make a difference?

How many people ever wear out their S&W 38 Caliber +P Revolver?

Cheers!

P.S. Much less a K-frame 357 Magnum!
