Unemployment has a color-not good

They wanted hope and change !

This is their change: $$$ to ¢ ¢ ¢ ¢ ¢ ¢ ¢, and hoping the unemployment check comes soon or the emergency extension.

On November 2,2010 my vote will be for the Other Guy -- no incumbents. Maybe the new person will hear our message. Bigger government doesn't work! I'll stop my rant now before I get in trouble.

I really shouldn't say this, but and this is the but, thirty years from now we will be telling the younguns about the time we could have bought that house for a song or people needed money and were selling whatever cheap and you should save for the day when opportunity knocks.

Those who have cash are going to win big while others lose. Now the question is well the young learn or just want the government to bail them out and not be concerned with the future?

If you are out of work I sincerely wish you the best and this post wasn't intended to make light of your situation.

I saw this post yesterday and found it illustrative of the deep hole we are sliding into. When banks are too big to fail, they must. The control of capital in our new global economy is now so complete that an individual cannot contemplate marriage, children or a future without the good opinion of a bank. Very dark clouds are gathering.

I am reminded of GK Chesterson's famous quote, "It is terrible to contemplate how few politicians are hanged."

It appears that the majority of the states that voted for President Obama are suffering the worst. That is sad.

Maybe next time they will know better. Even my father-in-law, who voted for him said "Boy, I thought he would have done something by now."

Two quotes by Thomas Jefferson come to mind:

"I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered." Thomas Jefferson

"A government big enough to give you everything you want, is strong enough to take everything you have." Thomas Jefferson

Are you from Augusta? If so, you have to be kidding!! Why would you want to get rid of Paul Broun? If you are a believer in small government, I'll guarantee you, anyone you voted for, Democrat or Republican, would be a much worse choice than Broun. If you fulfill that promise to vote for The Other Guy, then you will find yourself voting for a liberal Democrat this November, against a man who has an impeccable conservative voting record.

I just can't understand this mindset. Not all politicians who are incumbents are the bad guys. We need to keep those who are worth keeping. Broun might just head the list of those worth keeping, not just in Georgia, but nationwide.

I two was against the "throw-them-all-out" mindset a few years ago.

Now I am prepared to legally remove all of them from office.

The message sent will be, "We are truly unhappy and you had better pay closer attention."

I think we will ge better government.

I used to also believe that a really good politico should be kept in office, I now believe trhat ANYBODY can do the job.

I am willing to take the chance and vote every incumbent out.
