Are the serial numbers, model, type etc along with your name entered into a log the FFL is required to keep? I recall thats what I had to do when I had a FFL. They even came around and looked at it and when giving up your FFL the log has to be sent into the BATF, who then has a record of every transaction that FFL made. Yes, it would take some time to go through it and break it all down and enter into a data base but I would not put it past the Government to do it. The serial is also entere3d on the 4473 but is not called in during a check, but thr FFL holder puts it on thre 4473 and periodically has to forward these all to the BATF, which would make things a lot easier to enter into a database. Its irrevalent weather keeping an account is allowed or not as the government is gonna do what it darn well pleases.

Why the defeatist attitude?

This is about as likely to come to pass as Joe Biden saying something intelligent. It's iffy in the Senate, DOA in the House... unless the Republicans want to lose the majority there.

The other side is counting on us just giving up... when they're clearly losing.

Its after 11 and I am still ticked at Manchin! This is his first trip to the big city and I think he has been hoodwinked. He better get ready for some serious backlash. I was reading some comments in the online edition of our local paper and people are really hot about him doing this. I really think I am going down to the courthouse and change my status to independent! He is an idiot! He needs to back to Farmington and the family grocery store!
