Universal sight tool

I had 2 Shield 2.0 9 mm to install sights on. I got the rear sight off of one and the front sight off the other with a Wheeler sight tool. The remaining sights would not move. I took then to the Gunsmith who used a large bench vise and a brass punch to remove the offending sights and install the new sights. The cost was $35 each.

The lesson learned is that sometimes you just have to give up and let the professional do it.

Either that, or have the right tool to begin with. BTW, I have a large, heavy, steel workbench with a very heavy duty vise. I can assure you that either part cost more than any sight pusher that I know of. The brass punch is fairly cheap, but not worth much without the bench and vise. I can pretty much have any type or brand of pusher I want. My go to model is my own basic Mk lll, which I believe is in fact "superior by design" just like the motto says.
