Hello everybody!
Again a question from Germany. I got as a gift a bundle of nice blue cardboard boxes. One box is a miracle for me. It is a brown box looking like wood. It measures appr. 10" x 4" x 1,5". I guess it is a box Smith & Wesson used for shipping repaired guns. The lable, however, is handwritten in French language. I include 2 pictures to give you a better impression of the in- and outside of the box and the label. Can any expert give me an explanation of what this box was for and the date it was in use? Thank you and have a nice Sunday.
Rainer

I see quite a few reproduction boxes like that, and knew a person who printed them also...Beware the source...:censored:...Ben
This box is in Germany for more than 50 years. In 4th edition standard catalogue, page 53 are some information about brown boxes looking like wood. The French label looks more strange to me.
