The Target Champion moniker was attempt to make the handguns appear "sporting" for the European market.

Finally took some better photos of my Target Champion and I'm quite happy with it. I'm changing the grips to another set of Hogues that have a relief around the S&W logo on the sideplate. I may even try some factory round butt Combat grips which should look good.

Just put on a set of factory Combat grips and really like them so we'll see how they handle the recoil. I definitely like how they look.

Replace Front Sight without Tools?

Can you replace the front sight without tools? Pictured is my 629-4 that requires no tools to replace the front sight...

The OP's front site is pinned, so it requires a pin punch to remove the pin to replace the front blade.
