Two years ago I had both knees replaced in the same week, not that I recommend that. Tell the wife that PT is everything in quicker recovery and full function of the knee. Painful, yes, but grit the teeth and push through. The effort will pay off afterwards. The surgery itself is not so bad when you have one good leg to support you.

Both knees need replacing.
