UPDATE on Conjugal Visit to my 27-2 at Post 1

Absolute nonsense!

feeling your pain here in northern NJ. Waiting four months to have permits processed. I am aware of the 30 days to process law, however I actually think the paperwork goes to the bottom of the pile once you start breaking their stones. People in "free" states would not believe the idiocy of our gun laws, and they are about to get worse with the new gov. Rant over

I need empathy
Being from NYC and Long Island, I know your pain. I just put my interest in firearms on the back burner until we moved at retirement.

On the plus side, NJ has a great camping gear store (Campmor), and my husband loves the Pulaski Skyway. He thinks it's his personal drag strip in the sky...... and The Sopranos of course. ;)

30 days. I thought IL was bad with a 3 day waiting period for handguns (1 day for long guns). Actually here in downstate IL it really isn't too bad. The FOID (Firearms Owners I D) system we have had for a few decades now is really no hassle, and does allow weeding out those "obviously" not eligible to buy firearms, and with every purchase of course is the 4473 and NICS check.

I spent two weeks in New Jersey one day! Didn't take me long to know it was time to go back to Arkansas LOL! Nice looking piece of S&W History.

As a teenager many, many years ago, I vowed never to live above the Mason-Dixon Line, unless sent there by Uncle Sam. At one time, Maryland (where I lived with my grandmother for a while) was a decent place to live. When I turned 18, I went to college in Alabama (granddaddy was from there). Nice state, but too hot and humid. When I retired, I moved back to my home state of Virginia. Even though there are too many liberals near DC, the rest of Virginia is a wonderful place to live.

Do the bgs wait 30 days to get the one they want?

Naturally, the law adversely affects only the law-abiding. Aren't we still the majority?

The legislative members who crafted and passed that law must be having a hard time not breaking their collective arms patting themselves on the back.

They were voted in....they can be voted out .
With the right people in office laws can be changed.
Don't forget.... Vote

Beautiful gun man! The model 27 is my favorite 357 also. I have 6 of them myself; one of every common barrel length. :D

Now you need to invest in some fine Culina target stocks for it and store the factory 2x4 targets away. I find the Culina targets are much more comfortable and the finish and fit is superb on them too.
