**Update**Prayers need for a great guy, my son.

Prayers have been sent for Dan and his family, for you, Dick and yours. Specifically, for accurate diagnosis and prognosis, for peace and insight in decisions, for strength, wisdom and discernment for every aspect of this, and for courage in the face of adversity. Prayers DO matter. I know... I've been there for 16 years.

No matter how old they get, they're still our little boys we remember holding and protecting against the boogie man. My prayers are with your son you and your family.

I'll keep your son in my thoughts and prayers. My son is only 1 but he was in the hospital last week for a few days with a autoimmune disorder that goes after heart tissue. He's doing very well now and I couldn't be more grateful for great health care and all positive thoughts that came our way. I'll send mine for your son and yourself as it is a difficult position to be in as a father. Take care, Daniel.
 
May GOD bless him and bring him out of this problem quickly. Keep your chin up the doctors are doing some great stuff with cancer...with GODS help....Prayers for him and you..

My prayers are with you and your son. Aggressive treatments now days work miracles. Now you know who the enemy is and can fight accordingly. With appropriate Rad/Chem treatment, it's a life sentence, not the other.
 
I had a radical retro-pubic prostatectomy on 16 February '09 and follow-up radiation finished on 15 November '10; both at Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC. Duke does way more than lose basketball games to Carolina. My prayers are going out to your son and his family.

Praying for Dan that he will be cured from this condition and praying for his family members that they will support each other through this time.
 
I have a good friend that just went through radiation treatment for prostrate cancer. He was told that it is gone and that he should be cured. I hope that your son can get that news soon.
