Update to Down the Road Thread,,,Roadblock

Now 5 days in the hospital and some improvement. I guess they must have the pneumonia on the run. Everyday two steps forward and two back again with another meeting in regards to my treatment, some good and some bad?
Daily tests taken with new results but the tumor is still growing.
Currently I Just had another biopsy done to collect new samples and more of them which was a success. Also while in there they cleaned out most of my congestion and I can breath better. Dr was concerned doing this in my functional lung but it worked.
This cancer will never be cured, no find, destroy and cure but constantly find and defend.
So far they have found it 2 spots in my good lung and a spot of bone cancer down on my right femur. Just had a brain MRI and the results is I still have one and it didn't land there! God send on that one.
So now we are looking at radiation again on the first mass for destruction.
To date I have a fabulous team of Doctors and Nurses in my arena that I couldn't be more thankful for.
So some progress is being made and right now I'm still alive,,,,,

Promising news as of this morning,,,I will be getting the first radiation treatments starting today. This will be shall I say a major tumor blitz,,,hit hard and run. Next Monday starts the more precise treatments.
Right now they have to stop this tumors advance or basically I stop because it is blocking my airway.
So now the real fun begins but I am confident that my Drs. are altogether and on the right path!
If you know longer hear anymore about this wellllll you know what didn't happen!

Busy treatment day to day and I'm still here! I made another day!
Daughter and granddaughter here for a visit so for now I'm good to go!
Off the hook for further treatment until Monday.....

I truly want to thank everyone here for their prayers and thoughts. At this point I think it helped.
My condition is better but I'm not out of the woods and this will never be cured.
The doctors at present have given more time, how much is up to the cancer spread or,.
I was released from the hospital yesterday late. So for now I'm just kicked back. Really good sleeping in you own bed.
I will be going in for 5 more radiation treatments with a 2 week lay off to switch to chemotherapy. So far so good and the radiologist believe the tumor has shrunk and is also partially destroyed?
The last thing the doctor told me was that this was a touchy situation since the tumor painted your lung into a corner,luckily we were to get you out!
So agin everyone thanks,,it meant a lot to me
