I just put a Burris Fastfire III on my 629 Classic. I was able to cut my group size by more than half at 25 and 50 yards. I think it will prove even more valuable for hunting but tine and experience will tell.

Cool. I will be looking for something like that to put on an Encore
if it ever gets here. What is the MOA of that dot? I have read several
different opinions about what the best size is for various applications.
I am leaning toward getting one that can change dot size and maybe reticles.

Cabelas was cheaper than Midway USA.

It looks tall but really not that bad/don't really know the difference except when you pull it up to shoot. I was using iron sights and use to them/POA so I have to get use to this-both eyes open and you can pick up the dot easy.

I bought the same dot last fall for my 629-4 with 8 3/8" barrel and just love it . Great pics !
