I hear a lot of talk on this forum about these Uplula loaders. I really do not know what they are, or why one is needed. It doesn't take that long to load a magazine. I have no trouble getting the last bullet in as some have said is a problem. No different from any other gun I own. Am I missing something?

Never used one before, till I got a great deal on my M&P "range kit" 9mm.

Then, I bought another Glock 22 - and loading those mags with rounds # 14 & 15 are a PITA!

Glad I got the Uplula and I don't go to the range without it now.

I can load any and all of my mags by hand with no problem at all however after loading 100+ rounds at the end of the day my thumbs are really sore. For me the Uplula is a little slower but a lot less painful.

Best invention since they invented Velcro, wish I would have bought one when they first came out. I always preload 10 or 20 mags before going to the range, my thumb thanks me every time I use my Uplula.

They work great. Perhaps unnecessary for most handguns, but if you have Colt AR15 9mm carbine or an Uzi, they are an absolute must!

A Lula is a must have for AR magazines. Never figured I needed a Uplula for a pistol magazine. Until my son-in-law gave me one.

Sort of like a can opener,, you can get by without one,, but it just makes life a whole lot easier..

The Lula & Uplula are well worth having IMHO..

i'll put myself in the "want and need" hat. When i hit the range, i can easily go thru a couple hundred rounds in my 9's plus several hundred more in the .22; i dont have "arthritis" yet but the fingers sure can cramp and stiffen up easily enough. So as i enjoy my range trips, no reason not to have something to improve my experience. Up to now, been using a cheaper loader but Mrs Claus got me an Uplula for Christmas. Used it yesterday. Damn wish i had one the past couple years as it worked sweet for me lol

Are they one size fits all, or do you need a specific one for each handgun? For example one for my 9mm Shield, and one for my Sig 226 .40?

The standard one will work fine for both 9mm and .40 (9mm to .45 ACP range). There's a different model for loading smaller calibers in the .22 to .380 range.

Mine works on single stacked 45 ,, double stacked 9's & 40's,
CZ's ,, Glocks,, S&W,, 1911's ,, STI ,, I think that's all I've tried..

Don't think they work on .22's or 380's..

You answered your own question, but once you buy one and use it, you'll wonder why you didn't get it sooner.

Not everyone's hands, wrists & fingers work as they should. For those folks, there's the UpLula which allows fully loading a mag.

For me, I'm glad someone invented this lifesaver tool!

I can load magazines about 10 faster and a lot easier with one. If you shoot a lot, you will benefit from owning one. If you ever watch a Hickok45 video on YouTube you will notice that he always uses them. Like someone said, once you own one and use it, you will wonder why you didn't purchase one sooner. Regards, Elliot45

I bought one and absolutely love it. I loaded a few rounds in a magazine today and I have to say, I was able to, but it was difficult.

I don't know if I have arthritis or what, but my hands get really stiff, especially in the winter. Don't tell Uplula, but I would probably buy it if it was twice the price.

when I first started shooting I did all my loading by hand and one day at the range I saw a guy using a Uplula loader....asked him if I could try it and later where he bought it....stopped and got one on the way home....best thing I ever did for my tired old hands

If you load multiple mags by hand for a competition it will tire your hand and make your groups larger.

I use my Uplula for 9mm and .45 mags. Even the single stacks required by my Weimar governor. For testing ammo for best group or for Bullseye competition I prefer to have the loader.

One reason NOT to use the loader is that it is made in Israel. I hate to support that apartheid government with anything more than my $10million per day from US taxpayers.

I live four miles from town. I can walk back and forth, but since I got my first car, I've found that it's a lot easier to drive. Quicker and more efficient also!!! My first one was for the AK style mags, and my next one was for the AR style mag. I shoot mainly revolvers these days, but whenever I get out one of my 'large capacity ammunition feeding devices', the loader is a really big help, especially for multiple mags. I've never talked to anyone who bought one who doesn't like it.

23 rounds per mag x 6 mags + long day of practice= Uplula in my range bag. Could I load the mags by hand?, Sure. Is it much faster and easier with the Uplula?, You betcha.

After my first 4 day handgun class, 600-700 rounds, I found I could not keep up with my fingers.

After that first class I purchased a LULA and never looked back.

I have since been back to several classes with the LULA always in my pocket!
