Is anyone aware of any books and/or online resources dedicated to United States Fire Arms single action revolvers? I've got Taffin's and Chicoine's books but both of these provide only brief overviews of USFA's offerings. What I'm interested in is production numbers, a serial database, things like that. Can anyone point me to this type of information? Thanks in advance.

SASS used to have a USFA link in their forum.

I had one for a while, they are excellent SA's. They were like a product out of the Colt custom shop.

The guns were made in the old Colt building.

The owner Doug dropped the SA's and started making a gun that has to be on the bottom of the ugly bbl.

There's still a USFA subforum at CAS City but I've already mined that for as much information as it can yield.

Hopefully someone will come up with a standard catalog-type book for USFA someday.

CAS has the most information I've found. A new member, Wheeler Dealer, spent almost 20 years at USFA and has some information on SN. He reported that US frames were made at the new building starting about 2002.
I don't know when you were last on the CSA forum, but yahoody has started gathering SN information and posted it.
