Absent Comrade
The last couple days Theresa wanted to take pictures and we hit the trails with the quad and truck. Here is a couple.

Went fly fishing on the wet side of the state last weekend. Went over on North Cascade Highway and back on Stevens Pass (The "Cascade Loop"). Colors were starting. Should be good this weekend or next.

I really love the 2 orange trees in a sea of yellow.

Where are these last 2 pics taken? Is that Iron County? Cause I think I now think Utah is on my bucket list.

Iron county where I live, call`s itself "color country". I think that comes from the red cliffs and dirt. They used to mine iron here and I understand that if you dig behind it, it isnt red but gets that way with oxidation. I was raised in wisconsin and really with the many hardwood trees back east I think they have more fall color than we do. The thing I dont like here is the 6 or 7 months of winter that the snow keeps us off the trails with quad. Now I see why many people here also have snowmobiles! If you are going to live in this high country you really need a 4WD truck, ATV, snowmobile, trailer to haul them and maybe a boat and trailer for lake powell!
Really, there isnt a lot of roads in this country. Get out of town and it`s mostly BLM and national parks and forest. (Thats a good thing).
