On a positive note, I did receive a good response from Bill Huizenga saying he supports the 2nd amendment and will oppose any gun control legislation

Hey, at least you knew what you were getting into with that knob when you voted against him. I voted for Bob Casey who's traditionally had moderate stances and was very strongly in favor of protecting the 2nd Amendment. A few weeks after I pulled that stupid lever, the tool flip-flopped on the subject and is now in favor of a ban... not because the constituents wanted it, but because his WIFE told him to.

Maybe his wife should have run for office, we can tell who wears the pants in that house. I am so steamed about the whole thing.

We should start sending them registered mail so we have a better chance of them seeing them.We should call their offices day and night

Yeah, I thought the same things. The whole letter is basically, "Thanks for letting me know your opinion, but I don't give a damn and will do everything in my power to oppose or, better yet, abolish the the 2nd Amendment and to demolish the rights of people like you. Have a nice day!"
