I bought this one in the mid 90s from the LGS. $139, used. It's marked, "CGPD." I believe the dealer said was from the Coast Guard Police Department. I'd think if that were true, it'd be marked US or United States Property as well. Who knows?![]()

Two or so months ago, I paid $400 for a field model 37. I had the barrel cut back to 19 inches and resold it. There was a line of people wanting the thing. If you look at EBAY, Winchester 1200 barrels are now bringing more than complete guns were a year ago.
