Has less than 1 box thru it, 6" barrel, IL, no box/docs, factory Hogues; looks absolutely new.

Owner asking $650.

Soliciting comments on value AND desirability of the factory Power Point (the one Big Eye in front of the front sight).....

I have a pre-lock 629PP and it is the gun that made it possible for me to shoot 44mag accuratly.
I had an original Mod 29 and sold it because I could not overcome flinching with full loads. Sold it and later I got a Ruger RedHawk and tried again....same problem. Sold that too.
Now I know that had I been reloading at the time that I probably would/could have learned to shoot a 44mag much faster and cheaper, but I didn't load and full 357's were not a problem.

Then I bought a 629PP and for the 1st time I was able to shoot full 44mag with NO problem. I think it is a great gun. It enabled me to shoot a 44mag Mnt Gun with full loads without a problem.

Value..?? I would look around at the varrious auction sites on line and see what they're going for.
Value for me....priceless

Have you gone to gunbroker.com and found anything to compare. The book say's that the price is close to high with no box or doc's. But like any thing, it's what the market is asking.

I assume we are not talking about a PowerPoint, but a Power Port. Is that correct?

....sorry, yes, whatever S&W calls their own
single orifice device....Power Port, a single large opening at the muzzle in front of the sight.
