THIS IS NOT AN OFFER TO SELL! Value Question.

Today I stumbled into a seemingly good deal on 30 Carbine Military Issue Ammo.

Bandoliers with 8 pockets. Each pocket holds two double ended clips containing ten rounds each.
One end for reloading the rifle through the open action.
Other end for reloading magazines.

I had never seen or heard of these. Probably as common as fence posts in war time.

Think they should bring a bit more than the ammo alone would bring.

Unless it's still sealed in the original spam can the collectors will have little interest in it .
IMHO it's worth the same as current made carbine ammo .

It might have some additional value if the ammo is WWII stamped. The problem is that they put Carbine ammo on stripper clips at least until the early 70's, we were still issuing it to "friendly" troops. (I remember teaching the Hmong how to operate a Carbine before we gave them a bunch of rifles and ammo)

Shooting value is currently about $0.50/rd. The bandoleer and clips are worth about $20.

You can not load a carbine magazine while it's in the gun. You have the older clips with the built in spoon for loading mags. The newer strippers are double ended and the bandoleers came with one spoon.
