I have several JM’s that I love, but I’m hearing/reading a lot of people saying that the new Ruger Marlins are better built that than the old JM’s. I don’t always believe reviews from people who accept advertising dollars and/or other freebies though.

I’ve been hearing that too and have checked out a few at shows. Wonder if Ruger will come out with a waffle top.

I gave up on attending the local gun shows in early '23. Ridiculous parking, entry fees, and table prices. And very little of interest to me on display. I may never attend another, even if they remain legal. I really don't want or need anything beyond what I already have anyway, which is too much.
