Vets, can’t pass a background check?

Is there any proof that this has actually happened -excepting where a court has adjudicated a person as incompetent first? This sounds like one of the cut and paste reports created out of thin air, with 1+1 = 11, making the rounds on the internet, but never seen on a reliable source.
Everybody gets upset for a while, lots of words exchanged, then Gilda Radner says "never mind"

Da.

Товарищ Файнштейн (Comrade Feinstein) has on your best interests in mind. After all, she & the Politburo in the DC Kremlin are only concerned about the safety of their subjects....

I have no doubt this was an intentional move on NObamas Gub'mint to assert another bit of gun control without being too 'overt'.

Look, I understand the natural fear of any loss of 2A rights. But this rumor doesn't stand up to any sort of logical examination. It simply isn't possible, at least as it's being presented here. There is no POA database. It's just paper to be used if necessary. It isn't registered anywhere.

Don't get sucked into everything you read. Probably just some troll out to see if they can get 2A supporters riled up. Like as not, it isn't even a gun control person. Probably just some kid or internet freak who likes to stir the pot and see what happens.

Keep your eyes on things that are really happening in the world and don't buy into whatever **** gets forwarded to your inbox or posted on some blog.

Hell, all of us are crazed according to the Gub'mint. We own guns!

NWPhotoguy-

Seriously though; there a modicum of truth to it. A lot of information online from reputable news sources about this issue. I don't think this is "tinfoilers & black helo" sky is falling propaganda.
