Vintage vehicle fender Triva

While mushroom hunting (with no luck) I found what's left of an old fender. I wasn't total surprised. Way back when, any ditch behind an old farm house became a junk pile. I'm pretty sure the rest of the vehicle never made it to this ditch. I don't know why the fender did, and no, I wasn't the one who shot holes in it.
Out of curiosity, does anyone know what this fender came off of? I would have guessed Model T Ford, but from from what I've found I'm wrong. I'm just curious.

My guess is Model T left rear fender, judging by the three holes fixed to mount a brake light...which was only required on the driver's side.

Looks like .22 bullet holes to me.

Fender, Car: Maybe a prototype for very early Formula/Indy car. The bullet holes were from the starting pistols of the day, The didn't use blanks!

The upper radius is cut to fit the body, where it terminates.
A and T both continued all the way around to the running boards.

I thought it might be the rear fender of a Model TT Ford, but the shape isn't quite right.

Nah ... Those tended to be more like large brake backing plates than an over the tread solution
