Voters in my state force my hand

Limiting mag capacity is what we got because there has been no movement on better gun ownership vetting. I doubt any gun enthusiast wants some untrained whacko shooting a gun next to them at the range, never mind carrying on the street. Some sort of basic licensing requirement might have a positive affect on mass shootings AND allow us enthusiasts to enjoy gun ownership without the need for heavy handed restrictions. Just a thought...

Do you really believe any of these absurd gun restrictions are for our added safety? Never forget the end game is confiscation.

What "basic licensing requirement" do you have in mind?

While I am against all magazine bans, I would not get too wrapped around the axle over this as far as personal protection goes. You could always move to another state, but most people will not do that no matter how bad things get. They will grumble a lot, but learn to accept it.
How many shots do you think you might need in a self-defense situation? 10 shots will handle a lot of problems. And if you carry an extra magazine, that gives you 21 shots total.
Hard to justify shooting that many times as an ordinary citizen in an SD situation. The more shots you fire, the more likely it is that you lose all your assets and spend years in prison if you hit any innocent bystanders.
Every round fired has at least one lawyer and a prosecutor attached to it.
Strive to make every shot count.

Back to the initial question.

I won a P365 about 2 years ago at the Adaptive Defensive Shooting Summit. I love the gun and the concept behind it. I only have 10 round magazines. Being disabled, I wanted to increase my chances of an "out-of-position" first round hit, so I purchased a Lima 365. I found that as I tightened my grip to fire, pressure on the laser switch relaxed and the laser turned off. I did purchase a P365 X/XL grip and put the Lima 365 on it, and the laser works through the entire trigger pull.

I liked the P365 so much, that during the Adaptive Defensive Shooting Summit this year, I purchased a P365-380. I went with the P365-380, because I am starting to develop some hand issues, and the 380 doesn't aggravate those issues. While I am an iron sights shooter, I did purchase a Swampfox Sentinel Auto for it. Without the Swampfox, the P365-380 (without manual safety) is an ideal pocket carry pistol, and will probably rest in a shoulder holster for longer road trips. The 9mm P365 (with manual safety) will be carried IWB.

As a footnote: all of my P365 magazines wear grip extensions for additional gripping surface.

Personally, I feel that the P365 family of pistols is the next best pistol development since the creation of the DA revolver with simultaneous ejection cylinder! You won't regret your purchase.
