These new grips will be shown at the NRA Show. Hopefully, they will be available for sale on their website. These will look great on my 625, and 610's. The last time I ordered 1911 grips, I asked for these to be made. They responded, and said to be patient they these were in the works. Here's a pair on stainless Model 629.

VZ grips are fantastic. I wonder if they have plans for the K frame sq butt?

Checkbook waiting.......
Richard

The J Frames seemed to take-off, and now these new N Frame grips. So, maybe the 'K' grips may be next. It all depends on the sales aspect. But, I suspect the N's will be a big hit Richard.

Oh gawd.......Nooooooooooo!!!!

I have 3 N-frames that I would put these on. God help me if they do this and K / L frame.

I WILL BE BANKRUPTED.

I have VZ grips on some of my 1911s....

I would love a set on my 3.5 for shooting.

I'm not into the tactical look but I think these would look pretty good on my 627 Pro considering the slab side barrel and angle cut in the lug. If they're reasonably priced I think I'll try a set.

One thought, the texture of VZ grips can be pretty aggressive. I wonder how comfortable they are going to be?

Hopefully they will offer the various finishes, but even the aggressive ones can be softened with a little sandpaper.

I received an email from VZ customer service today, and these grips will be available in couple of weeks. The N Frames will probably mirror those offered for the J's. With the 320S [smooth] in seven different finishes from Black Cherry to Zebra. The [rougher] 'Tactical Diamonds' give the more aggressive purchase on the finish, and are also in the same color schemes.

I have VZ's on my 10mm Dan Wesson, and .45 ACP Kimber. The N Frame grips will go really great on my 625, and 610. I imagine these will be around the same price-point of $75.00 dollars. G10 is almost indestructible and well-suited for use outdoors, or in a survival situation.

I'd consider these if they came without finger grooves.

They're having a 20% off Labor Day sale this weekend. Usually runs $80, but $65 with discount. labor2013 at checkout is the code I think.

Nice. If i had a backpacking revolver, I might consider a set for the extra durability. Otherwise I don't see much of an advantage with these over wood. Especially since wood comes in so many more varieties and its durable enough for my purposes (home and range) and I have a feeling that it also absorbs recoil better than the VZs. We'll see though.. if they ever do end up offering a set without finger grooves.

Anybody who has one of these care to give a report on the finger groove size? Small/Medium/Large?
