W.A.C. gunshow this weekend.what did you buy?

Who attended this weekend's WAC show, and what did you come home with? I traded for a model 36 and paid too much for 200 rounds of .38 special. Saw alot of decent deals on S&W revolvers and the prices on AR-15 style rifles are dropping.

I managed to pick up a Model 29 no Dash with the longer 8-3/8" barrel that is 98-99% with a really, really nice set of matching Coke Stocks. As it was something of a "swap" I figure I made out very, very well and so the "The Bride". My S&W-K account just keeps on growing!!!

KKG, I think we are fortunate to have the WAC and the quality shows they put on. Reading posts from others from different parts of the country, seems they aren't having as much fun as we are up here! I saw 4 or 5 guns that I would have liked to take home. Congrats on your new revolver. Tim

I couldn't agree more even though I've been in the WAC long enough to know many of the Skeletons that are in and out of the "Closet" so to speak. It has been a very bumpy road over the last 30+ Years but it is getting a bit better, except for the fact that they are still 'doing' the Monroe Shows(12 a Years) and re reducing the numbers of Puyallup Shows, which ONLY number 9 this year.

I wasn't really tempted by much this month but then knew the Model 29 was on its way to me. We do have a pretty fair number of Association members who belong to WAC and of course, it is like visiting with old friends and some of the Best of the Best of the Northwest Smith & Wesson collectors, too.

I let my WAC go this year, just because of all the nutty pricing and huge attendence,but I might have to re-up if there are starting to be some fair deals again. I do miss my 7am drive to the Fairgrounds....and coming in the back door
