With all the wealth of knowledge here would anyone have any info on this company and their firearms? I picked up a double barreled 12 ga. about 25 years ago and just put it away. Now I am interested in finding information on it as well as its value.

There's the fine Wm. Moore & Co double guns from the London company.
There were SxS shotguns made in Belgium with the name Wm. Moore and a few plays on that name planted on them to better market them in the US.

I do seem to recall at some time seeing a double or 2 with the W.C Moore name on it. I suspect it is a Belgian made product of the late 1800's or earlier 20th century.

But,,,check for any proof markings on the barrel flats and the action flats and see what you have.

Thanks for the reply. It is actually a W. Moore & Co. It has proof marks 2 on each barrel along with the number 13 and the letter L but they don't seem to match up with anything i can find. On the top flat area that connects the two barrels it says Fine laminated steel and it has some very nice engraving even the screw heads are engraved. I also can't seem to come up with much on the web regarding this company. If anyone has any info on this company it would be appreciated.
