"Walking Dead" finale

I think Andrew is the inmate (short black guy) who ran off and Rick locked him out with the zombies in one of the yards, thinking the zombies would get him. They didnt and later he cut through a few gates and let the zombies in.

They didnt actually kill her. She died from blood loss caused by the C-section but because the zombies were running a mock and everyone scattered Hershel wasnt there to do it correctly

My wife made the comment about the casing hitting the floor. If you listen carefully it is the revolver hitting the floor. Not a casing. There is a metallic scratch sound more than a "tink" sound.

Wow, now that REALLY makes me cringe! BTW, the girlfriend and I have been talking; we make take a couple of days roadtrip down to some of the locations they've been filming in. Got a friend who lives in Newnan that said we could stay with them. We just thought it would be neat to see some of these locales, and it's only about four hours from where we live.

I could live with the inaccuracy of a shell hitting the floor instead of the thought of a $2000 Python grating along on a cement floor. I heard the sound and it was the gun, not a shell, very different sound. The Governor went totally cuckoo for cocoa puffs and wasted his own army. Andrea needed to go, I did like the way they did it too, killing off Milton at the same time. I like the way they left it open ended and I think that we will see Morgan and the Governor again. I am curious where they go from here. With all the extra people they won't be mobile for sure. It's hard to say where they go from here.

But, they added a new "hot chick" (under the body and in the truck) from the Gov's army....always got to have a "hot chick" for Rick....LOL

Doesn't anyone think to police up the weapons/ ammo from the "Govs army" shot by the Gov?

"extra people" are like the Red shirts on Star Trek.......don't want to be cast as a "red Shirt"

Wish I could have shopped for an engagement ring like Glenn.......

"OK this one is nice....chop/chop... rinse off ....... and .. " will you marry me?"

He could have gone to "that chain store" Wait he did ......chain link...........

It did not sound like a casing hitting the floor to me...I heard the gun hitting the floor...and said, I sure am glad they didn't show the Python hitting the floor or I would have been sick!

I was very disappointed with that episode! They made Andrea out to be this super duper Zombie slaying bad *** in the last several episodes....then they kill her off by getting bit and they didn't even show the fight!?!?! Wow what a total lack of creativity in that one!

Carl has been reborn hard as they say. The kid not two minutes ago was trying to kill everybody in the group, then kept hesitating instead of dropping his weapon and giving up. Hershal should have capped him long before Carl did.

I was glad to see Andrea go, Im more into Maggie and Beth anyway. Andrea just made stupid decisions, hated her character.

It wasnt as exciting as i anticipated, so i was disappointed.

I heard a gun hit the floor, not a shell.

Im wondering if Micchone is dead too, unlikely though.

Micchone was shown alive in the final scene when they all returned to the prison.

Speaking of the govoner? where is he going to get people to fight for him?. He shot up his reaction force and everyone is at the prision. Confusing ain't it?. Frank

Carl did right.

The "good guys" in the prison should have wasted a bunch of "Woodburys" but missed them? Or chose not to kill? Stupid in real Zombie life and in the show.

Andrea needed to get gone. She was too naïve, even after having spent a year or so in Zombie Land. Plus she talked too much. Got her in the end didn't it?

What the heck are they going to do with the Governor in the next season?

It was the Python hittin the floor.

Michone is alive.

Carl is not listening to his momma.

Andrea was just around to make stupid decisions.

The kid Carl shot was bein fishy...BLAM!

The prison is way more secure than woodberry.

I'm sure they policed up all the guns and ammo.

We won't hear from the Govener again for awile, just like Merle.

if you listen close, two items hit the floor. the first one is a empty casing, the second is the python.

For me the whole season was disappointing and slow. The finale just was how a regular episode should be, and not the quality of a finale.

This season was like the writer's strike was still on. B-O-R-I-N-G and S-L-O-W, and the character development was stunted. The reason season one and two were so good was that after the shock value of gore wore off, you had great characters and character development constantly growing and morphing. My wife liked to call it my Zombie Soap Opera, and she is right!

Andrea made a lot of bad decisions in a world where even making good decisions will get you killed. Drove me crazy. Her death scene was like the episodes this season; slow, drawn out, inevitable, and boring.

Carl did right. If I were a cop and a perp approached me holding a shotgun after being repeatedly told to DROP it, then, BLAMMO. Do not pass GO, do not collect $200....

My biggest disappointment though was Merle. What a lost opportunity! He was just getting interesting. He and Doc had a great little moment quoting the bible and we could see that Merle had more under the hood than he was letting on. It's too bad they dragged out Andrea's boring and stupid character and let Merle go underdeveloped.

I don't think I'll watch next season.

If I were Carl I would have shot that guy as well. I think that Hershel had it wrong. That guy was not putting his weapon down, unless you would say "down" means forward and down. I would wager that guy was thinking "I'll bet I can grab that baseball bat suppressor, before the kid gets a shot off."

Yes, Carl had it right.

Actually it is a "zombie soap opera" if you ever read the books there are times where no zombies or violence happening for several issues. Its more of survival story in a post apocalyptic world than a horror show

Arik,

Which is why the show was so good! Boy what a sad season 3 was....

I have not been reading the graphic novels bacause of spoiler alerts, but if the show is going to be this bad.....I suppose I'll get my fix with the books.

Well it is and it isnt. Because its a show some stuff is different. They cant add everything from the books. Daryl was never in the books and it was another character that looses his leg, not Hershel. Theres a lot of small stuff thats merged otherwise there would be too many random people showing up for an episode or two. There is some stuff that they didnt do that would have been interesting to see.

Very interesting, especially compared to the comics. The prison got decimated and not many made it out of the prison. At that point they abandoned it.

I'm interested to see what becomes of the governor. At the end of the raid he was turned on by his own people, shot then thrown to the zombies. His henchman, Matrinez, was also killed earlier, so it'll be interesting to see what the Gov and his two goons do next season.

I'm surprised they got rid of Andrea. She continued to be a big role in the comics. But I'm not too upset because I didn't like the TV version of her that much.

I'm glad they got Tyrese back with the main group. He was a big number 2 throughout the first part of the comic storyline.

I agree with Carl shooting that kid. He didnt just drop the shotgun. He was coming in too close. I was thinking he was going to try to jump Carl. I think they added this because Carl does become sort of a cold blooded individual in the comics. There are two young twin boy characters and at one point, one twin kills the other. Having seen all of the zombies and such get killed the kid thought there was nothing wrong with it. The group is then afraid of the kid because they don't know if he will kill anybody else. Carl sees that nobody wants to take care of the kid, so he kills him himself. I think them adding the killing of the kid with the shotgun in the show is their way of portraying what Carl is growing into.

Yes, Andrew was the inmate who Rick let go. He later came back and let in zombies and set off the alarm. Andrew was then killed by Oscar (one of the goodguy inmates) in the generator room. I can see Carl blaming Lori's death on him. In the commotion everyone got split up. Had Hershel been there in a non chaotic environment Lori could have survived the delivery.

An interesting tidbit of comic story:

The Governor cuts off Rick's right hand early on in the Prison / Woodbury storyline. I'm guessing they didnt want to have to deal with the main character not having a right hand on the TV show.

I was trying not to say anything about Ricks hand since the Gov is still alive....maybe season 4?!?!

I figured that kid Carl "whacked" was the twin replacement for the show
