Not to beat a dead horse, but just to give more support of the idea, I also found that adjusting the ejector pin in as well as up has made a pretty large difference....after that, I can say pretty confidently that the gun does take some brands of ammo better than others....have gone through 200 rounds of CCI Mini Mags with no problems at all, had less FTEs with Winchester bulk after the adjustment, but still to high a rate to be acceptable, and I will never put a Remington Golden Bullet in the gun again....Have yet to get any Federal bulk to try (Wal-Mart is the only one that carries it here and one store has been out for weeks and the other has had a "broken" key for the ammo case for at least two weeks now....I guess they don't really care about running a business)...but will check again tomorrow on my way to range....

Found the Federal bulk ammo (red box - 36 grain) on the way to the range today....good news, I am done trying different kinds of ammo....they shot perfect, and accurate....bad news for anyone else in the Baton Rouge area, Wal-Mart is about to be out of Federal bulk ammo....on my way back to the store...

I can feed my !5-22 any .22lr ammo and it just eats it up. good thing for me cause a WalMart is super close and always has the Federal 550 bulk packs too! put pretty close to 4000 rounds through it so far and shoots all .22LR ammo flawlessly!
