WalMart stocking ammo

The other day when I was in there I spoke with the salesperson and asked if there was any 9mm coming in and she said a truck with some should be in at about 7pm and she would put them on the shelves shortly thereafter.

I have bought over 6000 rounds in the last 7 weeks at various Wal-Mart stores in my area. That includes CCI AR Tactical bricks, Winchester bulk bricks, and Federal Bulk and auto match bricks. Every time I found ammo, it has been before 9AM. From what I understand, the truck comes at night (after 10PM when the gun counter closes) and the 7AM counter person (usually the dept manager) stocks the ammo.

Lucky for me I go to work at 7AM, so I have been stopping in to check stock on my way to work and have had success. The website used to help, but now they pulled ammo off the site period.

I noticed that too. Wonder why? Maybe it was just inaccurate?

A WalMart about 20 mins from me showed Federal .22 325 rnd packs in stock at midnight. Went to the store at 07:30, none in the case.
Asked and was told come back after 11:00.
Went back at 9:00 after running some errands and it was sitting right there on the cart to be put in the case. Another guy was there waiting, we each bought 3 of the 10 on the cart. No way any will still be there at 11.

And guess what-
as of right now the links to check on the stock NO LONGER WORK:
Guess they disabled that too....

The links are working again-they may have been diddling with it this AM, remains to be seen if they stay up and are as inaccurate as they have been

That's strange. Our counter counter never closes.

Round here the employees are hiding the 22lr ammo selling it their friends who in turn put it up on a couple local Facebook pages for double the price. Bunch of goobers

I get up real early. Never check WM or anyone else.

I have to say that you never fail to have an opinion or answer to any question posted. To me , more than not, you are rude ! Forums are supposed to be informative and helpful, not critical and condesending ( sp ? ) Strictly my douche bag opinion.
