I have a very pleasing looking set of Walrus Tusk N frame Target stocks, with medallions. They have some fit issues.

I would like to find someone that can work them into a 'near perfect' set of K frame Target stocks.

I am looking for recommendations for a craftsman that could work these over to my satisfaction.

Thanx,
bdGreen

BooneTrading.com, he may be able to help you. I bought a set of African ivories from him a couple years back.
Good luck.

If these grips have an open backstrap, converting them from an N to a K can be done by whittling down the backstrap side of the grip. K's are smaller at the top so more is taken off there and less as you move down towards the butt. If they are closed, that would be an issue and they might have to be converted to an open backstrap.

You could have a problem finding someone who will touch some else's grips especially considering Ivory can be a fragile material. I do know two grip makers that work in that medium and will PM you their contact info.
