Walter CCP vs Shield

... or you could put the larger mag on the Shield and get nearly the same result, now that I think of it. Ha!

Hey guys, just wanted to share with you guys that I got to test the ccp at a local manufacture expo in okc . If you live nearby I highly recommend you go to Hh and check it out. I only had 5 res to play with, but in those 5 eds it was easy to shoot and very accurate. I'm not the best shooter ever, but I was able to keep 4/5 rounds in a 2 in group. Last round I try to correct my shot. The sights are different hold compare to what I'm use to the 9c.

I did a rough comparison to xds with extended mag and they were close. I like the grip better than the shield and xds. I may get one down the road as I'm getting a used shield today.

Release date is next month now.

I know there are others out there like me who like the convience of pocket conceal but would like a Shield quality 9mm trimmed down 3 -4 oz.

That extra 3 to 4 ounces can add a lot to the reliable cycling of a 9mm gun. But it's important to remember that some of the single stack guns were originally designed for the more powerful 40 S&W round.

Why not get the kahr PM/CM9? It IS a striker fired handgun.

THIS. I have one and it is my favorite carry gun, especially for summertime here in AZ.

I'm actually considering getting rid of it, but only because I want to replace it with the Kahr CM40, as I am switching to 40S&W as my primary caliber.

BTW, the Kahr CM/PM 9mm and 40S&W are almost identical in size to that bad joke Glock released this year. Definitely doable guns for pocket carry. I sometimes carry my CM9 in my pocket with my Remora holster.
