Wanted to Share My New Custom Glock 19

The 9mm G19 is perhaps the one gun that strikes the perfect balance between capacity, portability and shootability. You can not go wrong with a 9mm Glock 19.

Although the modifications are not to my taste, I am glad you are happy with the purchase.

Personally, I would have bought a second G19 and a bunch of magazines with the money spent on the improvements. That said, it is your pistol, and if you are happy, that is all that matters, assuming nothing done to the pistol renders it less reliable that in stock condition.

I'm with you! And wondering if the Glock forum (I suspect there is at least one) would care to have an S&W posted on their space? Just saying.

The forum isn't just for S&W you can talk about and post pictures of whatever you want within the guide lines. That's what makes the forum unique.

$838 plus? I'd have shot the Glock stock, and bought two more (J-frames, that is.)

But, each to his own.

(The red is nice.)

It's like mall ninjaing a M&P AR15 it belongs to him and he can spend as much as he wants to fulfill his dream. Check on some of the AR pictures and see them all decked out.

OP it's different and like I said all that matters is you like it, I'm a stock guy myself. But it kind of reminds me of those cut away firearms they use to show how it works in a class in the military. It is different and I bet you won't come across another being that unique. Will you be firing it. Enjoy your new custom handgun.

Thanks everyone...gun should arrive tomorrow...those pics are from them upon completion...here is what I had done by Lenny Magill's...

1. Ranger side cuts w/red inlay - $325
2. Ultimate trigger job with pyramid trigger - $299
3. Fine point stipple job -$169
4. Trigger guard reduction - $25
5. Stainless steel pin kit - $20
6. Black Keracoat slide - included
7. Install customer supplied sights and magwell - included.

Total - $838.

In addition to this, I added prior to sending,
1. Heavy tungsten guide rod
2. Larry Vicker's sights
3. Aluminum mag well
4. Match barrel

More pics coming!!

Glad you're happy, but if I understand the post, you put $838 into this in addition to the $599 MSRP, not counting the four add ons that you didn't price? I like Glocks, and I own five, but I wouldn't buy that for half what you put in it. Like we say 'round here, there's a lid for every pot.

You definitely won't ever confuse it with someone else's G19.

Enjoy it, you have an original looking Glock there.

You get what you pay for, and if that makes you happy then so be it.

You have a one of a kind pistol that makes a statement and is more reliable than when you first bought it, good for you.

Thanks for sharing the information about the custom work.

a friend of a friend decided to paint his G27 40cal.
red-white-blue with GOLD trim. then he decided to strip it all off with yes- paint thinner. short version , I told him I would never shoot that gun, so I got a G27 for a 'c note.
it shoots great and I got my first Glock cheap.
yours is tasteful but , why.
I am now the proud owner of 3 G's.
G27-ugly
G22-nib
G22-daily protector.
also 3 - older s&w revolvers that are worth a lot
plus about 7 -9 others.mixed breeds.
none are modded , it would ruin the value-thus..the moral of this post.

Not sure about your idea of mods ruining the value. I only have 2 unmodded guns and probably a dozen modded. Each modded gun is worth way more than factory fresh. Some mods I did myself, most were done professionally.

You have created a definitely unique pistol and I like the look. Now what are you going to do with it? Safe queen with an occasional trip to the range, it's to pretty to carry and mare the finish. The thing I like about Glocks and M&Ps in stock form they're basically throw away pistols. By that I mean if something happens to it like a trip to the crime lab, and you don't get it back, you just buy another. A pistol like yours I would shoot but never carry. Thanks for sharing a really neat looking pistol with the forum.

Darth Maul, your gun has arrived.

I hope we do not minimize or step on someone's grail gun in a gun forum. You can only shoot one gun at a time or at most two so have two that are decked out the way you want. I just bought my first glock too, I hope to get it in a few weeks.

Compared to the stock G19, how much of a weight reduction did you end up with? Muzzle flip, do you notice a difference there? Did you do any porting in the barrel or slide only? It's unique!

Very Cool!

Congrats on your new looking Glock 19!! Dont listen to the haters, they just wish it was their gun and not yours ;) If you get the chance please post about the pyramid trigger, i have been thinking about going with a better trigger on my 19.
