Wanted to Share My New Custom Glock 19

Personally, I think that if the Springfield XD had come out before the Glock there would be no Glock today. The XD is a much better gun and a much better value. There isn't too much wrong with the Glock. It just doesn't compare to the XD, ergonomics, trigger, accuracy, features........

Lol and what you have above me is an opinion :D

That's funny I thought this was a S&W forum.
funny how there is a Firearms and Knives OTHER BRAND here. As in OTHER THAN S&W!!

Yes everyone here is a S&W Fan but we are also firearms enthusiasts as well. Why don't you go check out the 4 page thread on the Sig P220 or the 3 page thread about the PTT91 vs the AK.

I doubt that. Plenty of agencies go back and forth between manufacturers. Since 2007 Pa state police have gone from Beretta to Glock to Sig. Other agencies do the same. If there was something about the XD one of the major agencies would have picked it up. The problem with XD in high volume shooting is they tend to break roll and get the grip safety stuck. You also can't rack the slide without the grip safety.

So there!

No gun is perfect. (Well, maybe the 1911.) It just depends on what features are important to the buyer but, being a police firearms instructor for many years and a department commander who made the firearms decisions, between the Glock and the XD, I took the Sig P220.

There's hardly a gun out there I haven't enjoyed shooting. Like most things in life, we all have our preferences.

I like thin waisted brunettes with big butts. Wanna fight about it?! :D

I recently fired a coworkers Glock 17L and quite enjoyed it. My own choices are a bit more traditional.

I have a comp'd Gen 3 model 22 which I am modifying. Currently it has the night sites and 3.5 trigger. Bought 9mm, .357 Sig barrels and a .22lr conversion kit. Not too big to carry daily and 15 rounds of .40 S&W are comforting, although my S&W 360 usually get the nod.

misunderstood

i have
modded many of my weapons, but will never paint them.

Not sure about your idea of mods ruining the value. I only have 2 unmodded guns and probably a dozen modded. Each modded gun is worth way more than factory fresh. Some mods I did myself, most were done professionally.
