We desperately need a manly thread.

Real men workout everyday.

Time for a true story

Times have changed.
This is a story told around here. I believe it to be true. There was not an ounce of girly man in Ronnie's grandpa.
Years ago in the days of horse drawn farm equipment a buddy of mine had a Grandfather who got his hand caught up in the hay rake or mower.
He shook his arm like it was on fire and when he slowed down enough to check for damage his thumb was hanging from his hand by a small amount of flesh.
He went from farmer to surgeon and lopped the thumb off with a hatchet, pulled on a glove and returned to making hay for the day.
I cringe and cuss every time someone tells that.
Thanks
Mike

Any you guys watch Are You Faster Than A Redneck last night? Buncha guys drivin then furenn import kinda cars thinkin they could outrun some good old American muscle cars. Course they did bring in Kenny Wallace to drive the last round usin a Bandit Firebird against some guy in one of them Italian Lamborghinis. Kenny whupped up on that boy good and even showed him a Dale Earnhardt move about closin the door in a turn.

How's that?

I have been practicing the manly art of being a Grandpa to my 4 yo grandaughter this morning. At various times I have been a horsy, a daddy kangaroo, fed our baby kangaroos, have worn beads, played with Legos and watched Dora the Explorer. Oh, and pushed Katie in the downstairs swing while she played with a couple of my shooting medals.

ARRGHHHH. :D
