WE DID SOMETHING LAST NIGHT FOR THE FIRST TIME IN OVER 40 YEARS!

50 of us went bowling last night! This was the first time in 40+ years my wife and I have done this. We actually did quite well and we both won trophies - LOL!! I bowled a 130 and a 128. My wife just a few points below me on both of her games. Believe it or not, that was good enough for us to take 1st and 2nd place - we had so much fun! A 130 is pretty poor, but the saving grace is that on frame 10 I actually bowled 3 strikes in a row! Never thought I would be capable of that after not bowling for over 40 years!

We are gonna do it again next month - maybe I can break 150 - lol.

Recently married with one child and another on the way, I was stationed at Ft. Knox. We joined a church bowling league that met on post (the local church members wanted military in the league since it allowed them to bowl there if enough signed up).

Fun times. The further along in her pregnancy, the better my wife bowled, far exceeding her average. We took home the trophy that year, but didn't the following year after our son was born.
