Weapon Light - M&P 2.0 Compact?

This weapon light idea is new to me so I’m looking for help w/my M&P 2.0 Compact 9MM. Can someone give me some options that will attach to this weapon? Also, I’m guessing it would be a good idea to range test the gun w/the light attached to ensure continued reliability. Thx . . .

The two biggest names in weapon lights are Streamlight and Surefire.

For Streamlight your best bet is the new TLR-7
TLR-7/8 Series

Surefire has their XC1-B light

In general Surefire is considered absolute top of the line war fighting gear, and you pay for it. Streamlight delivers 95% of the performance at half the price.

Yes there are other options, such as Olight, but everyone I know who bets their life on their equipment choices Surefire or Streamlight.

One of the better, and FEW weapon lights that will actually fit on the compact model(s) is the O-Light PL-Mini 2 Valkyrie.

Tough, dependable light with nice options like magnetic rechargeable system, adjustable length, momentary/sustained light, QD easy on/off mount. Under $100.00.

I'm using a TLR3 on my 2.0 4" 9c. Only down side is not many holster options

The PL-Mini 2 will fit on the M&P 2.0 Compact 3.6 or Subcompact like it was made for it. For the 4" Compact the original PL-Mini fits a bit better if you want it to match the barrel length.
