Stepped into the Webley world a short time back, this won't be my last.
This one dates to 1914...

Very nice.

At least based on this photo’s angle the cylinder appears not to be shaved. The ENGLAND on the left front frame makes it a likely inter-war import.

Military contract. Lots of broad arrows on parts. Any unit marking on the back strap?
 
Unfortunately, this one has been shaved, if you look at the rear of the cylinder, you can see a full moon type clip to allow the use of .455 ammo.

Shoots well with the clip and .455 ammo.

No unit markings I can see.

Oh, that‘s a clip. The angle is deceiving. I haven‘t looked at my Mk III closely for too long; obviously there is no recoil shield sticking out that far ;)
