Sorry, if this YouTube video has already been posted. Some interesting S&W Pistols in Ken's collection.

Now, it probably comes as no surprise to many of you that I am not really a fan of many non-1911 automatic handguns. While visiting my good friend Ken Hackathorn, I was exposed to some SERIOUSLY cool Smith & Wessons that I just HAD to share!

I remember when the 945 came out. I mistakenly thought is was part of their value line. It wasn't, It was a beatiful pistol. I wish I had been able to buy one.

Thanks! Love any story from Ken.

This is just one of Eli’s video’s he’s done during his visit with Ken. If you go through duck_1776 on you tube, you’ll find the other video’s.

Ken is a wealth of knowledge. I wish he would write a book before it’s all lost to history. Say what you want of Col. Cooper, but he was a big fan of putting it in print. Wish Ken felt the same.:(

Hahaha, that actually made me chuckle and I never saw it that way but it's funny.

There are lots of 945's out there, they just cost a pretty penny. But if you know what they originally priced them at -- even the "expensive" ones you find today are a solid deal.

These guns ranged from $2,070 to $2,157 MSRP when new. Real street price was lower of course, but when you consider the value of our dollar now compared to when the 945 debuted, you are getting a deal even if you pay two grand right now to get one. I've got a pair of them, they are elite handguns.

Yeah, I was a gun counter guy back then. All the 3 digit S&Ws I had seen/sold had been the 908,910,457 pistols of the value line. So when a customer asked about it, I assumed it was from the value line. They corrected me. I remind myself of the story whenever I think I know thing.
