Well, looks like it's finally my turn (The thrilling conclusion)

No I think you need to take a chill pill and calm down. I think your being unreasonable. That's what I "think" you may not agree and you don't have to... I'm not in your shoes, just sharing my opinion about how you are coming across on the forums as of late.

Take it for what it's worth.

I am chill! Just look at my sunglasses.

Still nothing. Since when does it take a week to mail something from MA to NY? Guess if I don't get it on Monday, I'll give them a call. Somebody once told me that S&W had great customer service, but I get better service from my cable company...[/QUOTE]

Guess you must not have Comcast. I'm not sticking up for S&W, but there's no telling how their Return Material Authorization process may work. Even if the phone tech entered all your daya while you were chatting, there may be other internal steps that introduce delays. Godd luck, I hope it works out.

Hey guys.... maybe it's not a bad idea to keep the reviews limited to the accessories and not each other.

Besides.... we just got done griping about newbies not reading through the threads before asking questions. Can't blame em for not wanting to wade through this stuff, right? Nuff said....

Peace brothers.

Phil,

I agree with that!

I'd give S&W a call on Monday and inquire about the status of the call tags.

TemporaryScars,

Keep us posted!

It'll probably be here Monday. You're from PA and yours took about a week, so maybe mine will too.

Look, my frustrations come from the fact that I really really REALLY love my 15-22 and it kills me that it has been sitting in a FedEx box for a week now. I just want to shoot it! :(

I fully understand! I was frustrated that mine came out of a brand new box, with a broken component that never should have made it through quality assurance checks. But I sent it back and I haven't looked back. And just because I had a rocky start, it's not left a bad taste in my mouth.

I LOVE my 15-22, it replace a pair of 22's that were venerable, but they couldn't be, what the 15-22 is....

I called again on Monday to tell them I never received my slip. They said they'd send it by email and I'd get it in two days.

Guess what!? I don't have it! GAH HAH HAH HAH! **slowly goes insane**

I called late on Feb 24 had the return label on the 27th. Sent the rifle in on March 1 and got it back on March 9. I have no complaint what so ever with S&W Customer service.

Well that's good to know.

Anyone know of a specific extension that I can call where I can reach an actual competent human being?

Somewhat competant person at S&W

You might try Paul Remillard at 413-781-8300, ext. 3824. He rarely returned phone calls but, when he did answer, he got things done. As I understand it, he's some sort of supervisor there--what or whom he supervises is the debate of the year.

Good luck!

Figured I'd share this bit of lulz with you guys. Today, I finally got an email from Smith & Wesson! Unfortunately, it wasn't my return slip, but a promotion for one of their handguns. Thanks for the ad! Can I get my return slip now?

Rifle has been sent.

Just a word of caution. Somebody said I should take two of the free boxes from FedEx and use those to ship the rifle. DO NOT DO THAT. Because the rifle is being sent ground, you can't use those boxes, you'll have to buy some normal boxes from Fedex. It only cost around $4 though, so no big deal.

Wheeeew! This has been quite an ordeal for ya... glad it's finally on it's way. You'll be going thru 550 boxes in no time.

I hope so! My stores have been backing up! :(

You should have seen the look on their faces when I pulled a S&W box out of the free boxes into the plain boxes. One girl said "is that a rifle?" and I said "yeah" and she said "cool!" Lol...
