My daughter's class had a field trip to a Brewer's game today and I went along. I haven't been to a ball game since they came to Milwaukee back in the early 70's.

Well the Brewer's won and a fun time was had by all.

The last time I was at a ball game in Milwaukee Hank Aaron, Warren Spahn and Eddie Mathews were on the field. Been to a few Cubs games since then. When my Braves left I hooked on to the Cubs and never looked back. Guess I should go and see that fancy new stadium some day.

A friend had tickets to an LA Dodger game last Sat. It was the first ball game I had been to in a couple of years. We beat the hated SF Giants 8/0. It was great.

Hope to make it to Fenway this summer, My cousin is a fanatic in the truest sense of the term. She'll hop in her car and drive from CT to Baltimore on a weeknight to see the Orioles play the Sox.

I did get to see a minor league game last year. Great seats, great food - all for less than 20 bucks. Almost got clocked in the head by a foul ball - didn't realize you were supposed to catch them

Took my son and grandson to the season opener of the Fl Marlins several years ago. This was the season after they had won the pennant.

Josh Beckett was pitching for the Marlin. He had won the MVP for the World series. All day he was throw 85-90 mph balls.

Bottom of the 8th he had the bases loaded 2 outs and the other team "power hitter" at bat.
Ended up with a full count. I told my grandson to watch this pitch it will show the difference in a player and true player.

Beckett reached back and threw a 96 mph fast ball down the middle. Batter never got the bat off his shoulder. Great moment for me especially to share with my son and grandson

Absolutely. I got over my hatred for professional sports when my son started playing ball. I was a fan in the late 60s through 70s, and then became disillusioned with all of them. Over the last five years, watching the Reds on tv or at the ballyard, has become something we really enjoy. It's rekindled my love for the game of baseball. I try my best to ignore the steroid headlines, player contracts, etc., and just concentrate on the game itself.
