In my SUV there is a floor compartment. On a recent trip I put a box of 45 ACP down in the compartment. We had a cooler in the car and the drain plug was pretty much right over the top of that area and it was leaking and I didn't know it. 5 days later finishing cleaning out the car from the trip, I remembered the box of ammo in the floor and open up the compartment. Little compartment had about three quarters of an inch of water in it, which is just about halfway up the box of cartridges which were Nose down. I took the cartridges out of the box, wiped them all off dry and I put them in a container and Layered the cartridges and white rice all the way up to the top and covered the whole thing with rice. I'm going to let them sit in the rice for at least about 2 weeks. The way I'll see it is if they go bang good if they don't o, I'll just discard them.
Do you guys think these cartridges Will Survive & Fire ?
You guys forsee any dangers of trying to fire them?
In advance I appreciate your input.
